Gong welcomed the delegation on its return visit and briefed them on the development of BISU's Polish-language program and the university's recent progress in international cooperation.

He noted that since the two universities established cooperation in 2016, both sides have built a close friendship through talent cultivation and faculty exchanges and achieved fruitful results. He said the two universities have great potential for cooperation in such fields as languages, economy and trade, journalism and communication, cultural industries, business administration and country and region studies.

He expressed the hope that they would carry forward their long-standing friendship and support more forms of cooperation, including student exchanges, joint curriculum development, faculty visits and joint research, so as to further deepen their partnership.

Barwiołek thanked BISU for its long-standing support for the cooperation. She spoke highly of the university's achievements in training Polish-language professionals and its education of international students, and said she would actively encourage Polish teachers and students to come to China and provide a more comfortable study environment and better learning resources for BISU students at Nicolaus Copernicus University, boosting youth exchanges and cultural understanding between the two countries.

The two sides agreed to advance student exchanges for the current academic year and exchanged cooperation agreements.

During the visit, the delegation also held discussions at BISU's School of European Studies, where the two sides discussed sending BISU's Polish-language students to the Polish university in detail.
