Beijing International Studies University (BISU) has secured four winning projects in the 2026 International Communication Research Program, recently announced by China International Communications Group (CICG). 

The awarded projects span multiple key areas, including international communication capacity building, national translation capacity building, and international communication talent development.

The CICG program is a highly influential scientific research initiative in China's international communication field. It aligns with national priorities in communication capacity building, focusing on both theoretical innovation and practical application. The program is problem-oriented and demand-driven, representing important academic directions and high research standards in the field.

In recent years, BISU has embraced the mission of China's international cultural and people-to-people exchange efforts. Leveraging its distinctive foreign language disciplines and multilingual, multidisciplinary integration, the university has deepened its strategic layout in key areas such as international communication, national translation capacity building, and regional studies.

The growing number of BISU-led projects under this program highlights the university's disciplinary strengths and research capabilities in communication and translation studies.
