At the event, BISU Vice-President Zheng Chengjun noted that RCEP is the world's largest and most promising free trade agreement, marking a milestone in Asia-Pacific regional economic integration.

He stressed that BISU will continue to focus on international trade, regional studies, multilingual translation, and cultural tourism integration to provide talent and intellectual support for Beijing's opening-up efforts.

In keynote speeches, participants agreed that while RCEP provides a platform for businesses to tap into regional markets, greater attention must be paid to compliance management, localized operations, and talent reserves.

During the forum, attendees witnessed the unveiling of the Beijing RCEP Regional Development Research Center.

This center represents a key initiative by BISU to serve national strategies and the needs of the capital. It will leverage resources from government, industry, academia, and research to conduct in-depth studies on trade and investment facilitation, industrial collaboration, regional analysis, cultural exchange, and talent development.

BISU aims to use the forum as a springboard to mobilize resources through the new center, advancing academic research, talent cultivation, and industry alignment. By leveraging its academic strengths, BISU seeks to contribute to regional coordinated development and support Beijing's opening-up efforts.
