The "Global Book Copyright Market" 2026 China-Thailand Publishing Forum and Business Matching took place at Sea World in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone.

This ranked as one of the largest and most efficient direct talks between Thai and Chinese publishing sectors in years, and a pioneering example of the Xiamen FTZ's National Cultural Export Base bringing in international partners.

More than 20 Chinese and Thai publishing houses and over 70 copyright representatives signed agreements on-site and collectively joined the "Global Book Copyright Market" platform during the event.

The platform will now serve as a permanent bridge for continuous resource and copyright exchange between the two sides — no longer limited to the short window of a single meeting.

Participants also took part in "one-on-one" copyright matchmaking sessions at the event. Over the course of one day, seven rounds of talks were conducted, amounting to 84 sessions and yielding over 260 cooperation intentions spanning physical books, audiobooks, cultural IP, and printing services.

Behind this high-density copyright matching event stands a platform with four years of proven success: the "Global Book Copyright Market".

Designed to deliver a full loop of services — copyright display, trading, negotiation support, overseas publishing, print licensing, and local promotion — the platform has already onboarded 169 cultural institutions worldwide and enabled hundreds of books to be published overseas under copyright agreements.
