Construction plans for the first-phase Advanced Manufacturing Center and International Logistics Center projects of Xiamen Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone were approved.
This marks the first set of construction plans to be approved since the comprehensive development of Zone D, the starting area of Xiamen's Airport Economic Zone.
The first phase of Xiamen Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone consists of three sub-projects — the International Logistics Center, Advanced Manufacturing Center, and International Science and Innovation Center.

The Advanced Manufacturing Center has a total investment of 294 million yuan ($43.4 million) and a floor area of 90,300 square meters, consisting of nine customized and general-purpose factory buildings. The center primarily serves high-end manufacturing enterprises, offering integrated functions such as bonded R&D, bonded production, and testing and repair.
It focuses on hosting airport-oriented industries including aviation repair, intelligent manufacturing, and electronic information, aiming to serve as a modern bonded production and manufacturing platform that features land-efficient development, diverse products, high-standard design, and streamlined processes.

The International Logistics Center has a total investment of 155 million yuan and a floor area of 34,600 square meters, consisting of two high-standard bonded warehouses.
It primarily provides bonded warehousing, international distribution, and supply chain management services, with a focus on supporting the development of cross-border e-commerce, air cargo, and supply chain integration. It aims to create an efficient and convenient comprehensive bonded logistics platform.
