The signing ceremony for the first company -- Beijing Redflag Software Co Ltd, one of the core enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence and big data in China -- to move to the Xinchuang international health technology town took place on Oct 19.

Officials said it took place in the district of Lushunkou in major port city of Dalian, in northeastern Liaoning province -- and leaders of Lushunkou's authorities and experts were among those attending.

Located in Lushunkou, Xinchuang international health technology town is a project that aims to integrate the health sector with commerce and accommodation.

Local officials said at the ceremony that the signing of the new project will play an important role in promoting the technological innovation and the development of Lushunkou's health industry.

The local government will further improve local infrastructures, improve the people's livelihood and optimize the business environment to attract more enterprises and talents to Lushunkou for development and entrepreneurship.

After the signing ceremony, a forum on health industry was held to showcase the empowerment of big data and AI technologies for health industries. Some experts were invited to give lectures on application of AI and big data in health industry.
