Unlike other districts in Dalian, Liaoning province, Lushunkou in the south of Liaodong Peninsula, wasn't approved as a State-level economic and technological development zone until the end of 2009. Just nine years later, it is full of unprecedented vigor and vitality.

The quality of service in tourism in the district has improved, with the total number of visitors numbering 404.44 million in the past five years, and the tourism industry has achieved a total revenue of 12.02 billion yuan ($1.72 billion). 

Apart from Baiyu Mountain Scenery Area, Naval Port Park, and Laotie Mountain Lighthouse, located in Chuncheng Road, Lushunkou district, Dalian, Liaoning province, Taiyanggou, known as Dalian's "backyard garden" and famous for its autumn leaves, is also a perfect place to enjoy the history and culture of old historical buildings.
