Lushunkou's tourism saw significant growth during this year's Golden Week, with the number of tourists reaching 282,000, indicating a year-on-year growth of eight percent. Its tourism revenue reached 2.75 million yuan ($0.40 million), an increase of five percent year-on-year.

Via holding the Taiyanggou Colored Leaves Festival and the Seafood Festival, this year, Lushunkou attracted more tourists than ever before. Some art performances and themed tourist routes were also provided at reduced prices. Moreover, self-driving tour of families became the main force during the Golden Week.
