Construction work on Dalian Huayun new material project recently got underway in Lushun Development Zone, Dalian city, Liaoning province. The zone has invested 300 million yuan ($43.68 million) in the new project.

The project covers an area of 24,700 square meters. The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of 2018; it is expected to mainly be responsible for R&D, production and sale of new multi-functional nonwovens. And annual sales revenues are expected to reach 370 million yuan once the project is completed.

Founded in 1994, Dalian Huayang New Material Technology Co is the Chinese polyester spin-bonded technology equipment and product development base, and was awarded the quality system certification ISO9001 in 2016. The company is the only national high-tech enterprise with independent intellectual property rights and integrated engineering technology development capability. It has created six top national projects in the field of polyester spunbonding, filling important gaps in Chinese technology. And it has developed eight sets of international-level polyester spunbonding sets of technical equipment with completely independent intellectual property rights.
