Tiger Tail Peninsula

The 4.8 square kilometer Tiger Tail Peninsula is on the west side of Lushun Port. It was an area of forts in the Qing Dynasty, and was successively occupied by Russia and Japan. On the peninsula, there are fort barbettes built in the Qing Dynasty, the Tsarist Russian period and Soviet Union times. Other points of interest include remains of monuments and training grounds from the Qing Dynasty, Nantian Gate, Tiger Tail lighthouse, and the Labozi Seaside Resort and beach.
