DUT Computer Control Engineering Co Ltd (DUT) is mainly engaged in technical research, product development and system integration of field data. It offers its customers automatic and integrated industrial solutions by using the Ethernet (EPA) Fieldbus control system.

DUT is a high-tech enterprise supported by the Dalian University of Technology. Closely cooperating and growing together with that institution, and depending on its own R&D advantages, through constant hard work and accumulated experience  DUT has attained core independent intellectual property protection in networking PCS. DUT has accomplished seven “863” projects, one national Innovation Fund for Small Technology-based Firms and more than 30 municipal and provincial key scientific and technological projects. DUT participated in drafting EPA（Ethernet for Plant Automation -- GB/T 20171-2006), which is the first Fieldbus criterion in China and is included in Type 14, IEC61158. This is the first international standard with independent intellectual property rights in the field of industrial automation in China.

DUT has been honored as an Industrial Equipment Monitoring and Control Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, a China Industrial Software Promotion Association Council Unit of the First Session, an Industrial Equipment Distributed Control Engineering and Technological Research Center of Liaoning Province, an Embedded Technology Service Center of Liaoning Province, a Networking Control Technology Development Center of Liaoning Province, a Provincial Enterprise Technology Center of Liaoning Province and an Industrial Equipment Energy-saving Control Engineering Lab of Dalian City. 

DUT has won many national, provincial and municipal prizes, among them the second class of S&T Achievements granted at the National Technology Invention Awards. Its EPA - High Performance Fieldbus for New Generation Control Systems won the second class of S&T Achievements Granted with National Technology Invention Awards and its EPA（Ethernet for Plant Automation -- GB/T 20171-2006) won the first prize of the China Standard Innovation Contribution Awards. In addition, DUT has won a second prize of the Electronic Information Science and Technology Awards from the Chinese Institute of Electronics, a second prize of the Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, two third prizes of the Scientific and Technological Progress Awards of Liaoning Province, and three first prizes of the Scientific and Technological Progress Awards of Dalian City. The company has nine software copyright registrations, seven software product registrations, one trademark registration, three national patents for invention, two utility model patents and nine national patents for invention.

DUT’s main products are networking programmable logic controllers such as PEC, AIO, DIO, PMC and TAC; PAC programmable logic controllers such as iTC and iAC; application software such as PLC Config based on IEC61131-3, DXP and DView. Its “EPA PEC8000” has been honored as 2008’s national key new product, and has passed CE certification, RoHS certification and GB/T 2423 certification. It has been widely applied to equipment control and production process control in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgy and electric power industries. Products of the company are used as control devices on electronic production equipment, and textile, packaging and hoisting machinery. The company has almost 1,000 customers all over the country for its stable and reliable products. DUT’s data acquisition module has been successfully applied to all four of China’s scientific investigations of the North and South Poles.

DUT has invested 30 million yuan on constructing an R&D Center building at Dalian Lushun Science & Technology Park, which covers an area of 6,950 square meters and has a floor area of 10,837 square meters. Output value for this year is expected to reach 30 million yuan, with profits of 6.4 million yuan.
