Founded on Feb 11, 1999, Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment Co Ltd is supported by COSCO Shipbuilding Industry Company. Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment Co Ltd’s main businesses are outfitting ships, manufacturing and installing steel structures, and design, construction and supply of outfitting for shipping and ocean engineering accommodation. Its products are diverse and include large ship steel structures, body sections, small and medium outfits and machining. It is currently the largest, most professional ship supporting production base in Eastern China.

In order to reinforce its ship supporting capability and add to the value of its supporting products, Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment Co Ltd established a branch in Dalian on May 8, 2009. Construction of a plant to produce fittings such as marine rudders and stern frames was approved in June, 2011. The total area of the plant is 108,000 square meters, and investment for the first phase was 195 million yuan. The new branch came on stream in June 2012.
