Dalian Huarui Heavy Industry Group Co Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DHI-DCW Group Co Ltd, which was restructured out of two key enterprises in the Chinese heavy machinery industry, DHI•DCW Group Co Ltd and Dalian Daqi Group in Dec 2001. After subsequent rapid development, Dalian Huarui Heavy Industry Group Co Ltd has the largest business scale and highest labor productivity in its own field domestically, and is the only company in that field among the top 500 enterprises of China.

Employees of the company are very professional in engineering and business. Twenty-four percent of its work force is composed of engineering technicians. Its product design takes in the most up-to-date international design ideas, applying AutoCAD2004, Solidedge V18, UGNX4.0 2D software and 3D software. The company emphasizes design development and management, and applies Ansye 10.0 to structural finite element analysis. Management information platforms and large-scale product design virtual simulators such as PDM, ERP and CAPP provide reliable support. Sixty percent of its welders have welding technique certificates granted by AWS and CCS. The company has over 30,000 square meters of modernized workshops and 70,000 sq m for large product final assembly. The company has major processing and advanced welding equipment, such as a φ200 milling and boring machine. In addition, it neighbors the sea and Port Arthur and can transport and deliver any large scale product.

The company’s marketing network is spread over the metallurgy, shipbuilding, energy, chemical engineering, transportation, mining, aerospace, electronics, machine building and military industries. Its products are sold to 40 countries and regions such as the US, Japan and Russia. The company has been honored as “China’s Biggest Professional Crane Design and Manufacture Company”.

Its products include bridge cranes from five to 20,000 tons (including the new series of DHQD), single and double girder cranes from five to 1,000 tons, types of metallurgic cranes and lifting appliances (including a whole series of ladle cranes under 480 tons), nuclear power station circular cranes, gantry cranes, door extractors, aerospace cranes and some other types of special lifting transport equipment; altogether over 500 different types in over 1,200 categories. Many products have won national prizes for progress in science and technology and national new product awards. The company has provided hundreds of cranes for the Shenzhou manned space and defense project which has widened its reputation. DCW bridge cranes and portal cranes have been honored as a Chinese branded product.
