Dalian Sifang Motor-Pump Co Ltd is a national high-tech developing private company. It has a research and development team with high quality and sophisticated processing and testing equipment. It is one of the main manufacturers producing motor pumps, producing over 2,000 types in 20 series. Its products are widely used in fields such as chemical engineering, petroleum and gas treatment, light industry pharmaceuticals, refrigeration and nuclear power. The products not only satisfy domestic needs but are also exported to Pakistan, Russia, Egypt, Bengal and elsewhere.

Dalian Sifang Motor-Pump Co Ltd takes part in the national torch plan, national research programs and the national key new products plan. The company has won provincial and municipal science and technology awards – its “super heat resisting motor pump” was honored with the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Liaoning province, the first prize for scientific and technological progress in Dalian city, the gold prize for professional, unique technical products of medium-sized and small enterprises and the third prize for new products in Liaoning province. The permanent-magnet synchronous motor used on the company’s motor pumps was honored with the third prize for commercialization of research findings in Liaoning province and professional unique technical products of medium-sized and small enterprise in Liaoning province. In March 2006, the company was selected as a Liaoning province intellectual property test unit. In March 2009, it was selected as a Dalian city intellectual property cultural development station. In 2010, with approval by the city’s development and reform commission, the company became a “Pump Engineering Lab of Dalian City”. To date, the company has declared 58 patents and received seven invention patents. All these achievements have contributed to the company’s future scientific and technological development and standards of product manufacturing.

Products developed in recent years such as high temperature, high voltage and high power motor pumps, high power permanent-magnet motor pumps and ceramic sliding bearings are now being produced and entering the market.

In 2011, a high temperature, high voltage nuclear triple-stage pump capable of 350 degrees, 25 MP 250 KW operations developed by the company for nuclear facilities was put into operation, the first such deployment in China. Dalian Sifang Motor-Pump Co Ltd is changing its production slogan from “Made by Sifang” to “Created by Sifang”. It has become the main force of innovative system construction and industrial structural adjustment in the country.
