Zhuhai stands out as city with tourism for everyone

A Zhuhai delegation representing nearly 50 cultural, sports, and tourist enterprises had strong impact at the China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo 2018, vigorously promoting local products and brand activities.

Hosted by the Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province, the event is one of China's largest international tourism expos. This year, it was held in Guangzhou from Sept 7 to 9, attracting exhibitors from a record 60 countries and regions.

Covering nearly 100 sq m (1,076 sq ft), the Zhuhai exhibition area displayed a raft of local Tourism Plus products and staged multiple promotions of top-billed events to burnish Zhuhai's tourism calling card as a City of Romance.

Tourism + Convention: Airshow China

The 12th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition will be held at the Zhuhai Airshow Center from Nov 6 to 11. The only international aerospace trade show in China, it will feature air shows and ground dynamic demonstrations by the top 10 domestic military enterprises and world-renowned aerospace firms.

Tourism + Sports: WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai

The 4th WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai, one of the global premium tennis events, will take place at the Hengqin International Tennis Center from Oct 30 to Nov 4. Tennis aces such as Serena Williams, Garbine Muguruza, and Jelena Ostapenko are likely to take part.

Tourism + Culture: China Intl Circus Festival

The Nov 16-23 China International Circus Festival is to be held at Chimelong Hengqin International Circus City, putting on 25 acrobatic shows by performers from 25 countries and regions such as Ethiopia, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, and Cuba.

Tourism + Sports：Asian Windsurfing & Kiteboarding championships

Asian Windsurfing Championship 2018, the first international windsurfing competition in Zhuhai, will accompany the first-ever Asian Kiteboarding Championship to be held in waters off Xianglu Bay from Nov 23 to 30. More than 200 of Asia’s top windsurfers and kiteboarders will compete in 16 events.

Tourism + Music: Zhuhai Intl Beach (Shark) Music Festival

An eclectic mix of rock, popular, and indie music will be performed at Haibin Beach (City Parlor) during the Oct 1-2 Zhuhai International Beach (Shark) Music Festival 2018. Popular singers Hua Chenyu and Mao Buyi, band Second Hand Rose, folk singer Chen Hongyu, and Hong Kong singer Paul Wong Koon-chung will take stage.

Tourism + Sports: Pan Delta Super Racing Festival

The 2018 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival will host a year-end showdown from Sept 15 to 16 at the Zhuhai International Circuit in Jinding Town. Races will be held for titles of Circuit Hero, Speed Hero, and China Endurance Series, and winner of the Greater Bay Area Lotus Cup.

Tourism + Music: Beishan Jazz Festival

The 9th Beishan Jazz Festival will enliven Beishan Village in Nanping Town from Oct 12 to 14, with singers from all around the world offering the latest and most trending jazz.

Tourism + Countryside: Lianjiang Countryside Music Festival

The 2018 Doumen Lianjiang Countryside Music Festival will take place at Shili Lianjiang Agriculture Sightseeing & Experience Garden on Oct 1 and 2.

Zhuhai is home to 40 scenic spots, seven of which are 4A-level. A top 10 all-for-one tourism product system revolving around theme parks, sea-island access, health-oriented hot springs, brand events, sports-leisure activity, countryside ecology, conferences and conventions, industry-science-education, history-humanism, red tourism, local cuisine, and shopping functions has taken shape in the city.
