A ferry resumed transporting passengers between Doumen Port in Zhuhai and Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal, Kowloon, on Sept 1 after nine months of unavailability.
The one ferry sets off daily from Tsim Sha Tsui at 8:30 am and reaches Doumen in over an hour. The return trip departures at 3:10 pm.
Passengers need to go through exit formalities and check baggage before boarding ships, according to an officer at the Comprehensive Office of the Frontier Inspection Station at Doumen Port.
The former carrier was retired on Dec 29 last year. This new ship is codenamed Jiangmen.
