Buses

Bus routes in Zhuhai reach throughout both urban and rural areas. The fare of buses with air-conditioning on most routes in eastern downtown is 2 yuan and 1.5 yuan for ordinary buses. Self-service ticketing is conducted by tossing coins or swiping a card. Ticket sellers are assigned for most buses to western urban area and the fare is charged by swiping a card based on the chosen stop.

Taxi

Taxies in Zhuhai service either the main urban area, Doumen District or Zhuhai Airport. The vehicles are usually Jetta, Hyundai, Peugeot, Passat, or Englon makes. The fare is clearly metered.

Public Bicycles

Lease service is available in Xiangzhou, Jida, Gongbei and New Xiangzhou in the central urban areas, and Hengqin Free Trade Zone. Tourists may go through the formalities of bicycle leasing at Zhuhai Urban Construction City Bike Co ltd by presenting their ID card.

Intercity MRT

The Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT connects five cities -- Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhuhai. It takes only 1 hour and 12 minutes from Guangzhou South Station to Zhuhai Station. The train is operated by CRH and the electrified railway is double-tracked for passenger transportation.
