B&W sounds great for Zhuhai FTZ

A wholly-owned subsidiary of UK top-level sound equipment manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins Group has just come into operation in the Zhuhai Free Trade Zone. 

B&W Trading (Zhuhai) was sanctioned by the Municipal Bureau of Commerce in August last year. Intent upon expanding production and guaranteeing supply, the company makes and sells hi-fi speakers, home theater systems, individual audio products, electronic sound equipment, and semi-finished products and components.

The $1.75 million Zhuhai facility has floor space of 25,000 sq m for production and storage. It will manufacture and market 215,000 horn speakers and 2,000 power amplifiers annually.

According to B&W’s Zhuhai general manager, Andy Board, their products cover almost all consumer groups around the globe. The company has set a goal of increasing sales revenue by 50 percent a year.
