Beijing-based Reignwood Aviation Group officially settled in Zhuhai Aviation Industrial Park in Jinwan District on Nov 1, the opening day of Airshow China 2016. Along for the celebration was its brand-new Twin Otter, a single-engine, high-wing, propeller-driven, short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft manufactured by Viking Air of Victoria, BC, Canada.
Zhuhai Deputy Mayor Wang Qingli, the Canadian Consul General in Guangzhou Rachael Badlington, and Minister Teresa Wat of International Trade Responsible for Asia Pacific Strategy and Multiculturalism, attended the aircraft delivery and project launching ceremony at the air show pavilion.

Viking’s DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft excels in short distance take-off and landing capability at a minimum of 500 m. Thus, the light plane can be widely applied to fields such as short-distance transport, air travel, and emergency rescue.
The aircraft purchased by Zhuhai Aviation Industrial Park is among the first batch of Viking DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 400s delivered to the Chinese market. The subordinate aviation group under Reignwood Group is an exclusive representative for the Viking Series 400 Twin Otter in China. Apart from a one-stop aircraft purchase service, Reignwood is also active in financing, construction, and operations services, in addition to airdrome control.
Aiming to be a leader in China’s fast-growing domestic aviation industry, Reignwood Aviation Group will expand its aviation manufacturing and maintenance business at the Zhuhai base in order to build a center for assembly, delivery, and after-sales maintenance.
