Airshow fare enhanced to fuel spectators

updated : 2016-10-28

Diversity at Airshow China 2016 isn’t limited to planes, people, and powerful weapons, but pallets will be pleased with the plentiful variety of food.

The 4,000 sq m Dining Zone C will join the A and B sections near the Hall 1 gate, thereby increasing the dining area to 13,000 sq m. Coffee and tea vendors will be on the second floor of the Aviation & Aerospace Hall. During the Nov 4-6 public days there will be an additional 10 drinking water vending kiosks and meanwhile 20 food vending vehicles will provide hot drinks and food.

The main fast-food and public dining areas have been renovated, providing both western and Chinese porridge, noodles, hamburgers, and sandwiches. Burger King and Subway will also have stalls.

There will be twice the amount of food at the buffet this year, with 40 percent more suppliers in attendance. Expecting 80,000 spectators each day, the organizers have gone to great lengths to cater to all guests.

Food packages for specially invited guests in Dining Zone A will cost 200 yuan ($30) per head, with B and C zones costing 150 yuan ($22) each, and from 40 to 60 yuan ($6 to $9) in the public area, sources say.
