In order to alleviate ground traffic conditions, shuttle buses will pick up spectators at external parking lots and deliver them to the exhibition site of the 11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition from Nov 1 to 6, it was announced at an Aug 9 press conference.
At-door ticket sales will no longer be provided; rather, all tickets will be sold online in advance and up to 80,000 per day are available now. Each ticket is valid only on the marked date.

The mode of “P+R” (park and ride) will be applied to traffic management, which means that during the show no private vehicles will be allowed to approach the Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District, the main exhibition area.
The organizer has designated seven parking lots, the nearest 2.5 km and the farthest 45 km away, for a park-and shift-to-bus system. In addition, free shuttles will pick up visitors with tickets in downtown areas. Not only this, but tourist buses might be provided for group visitors at various PRD cities, and Airshow China lanes will be set aside for shuttles, tourist buses, public transport vehicles, and taxies to the site.
These implementations are meant to relieve congestion problems that were encountered during the previous airshows. Taking advantage of the measures, public security departments should be able to estimate total and daily, and thereby expect smoother traffic this year.
The nationally endorsed air show has been held in Zhuhai in every even-numbered year of the past two decades. The 2014 show attracted 410,000 visitors with more than 700 manufacturers from 41 countries and regions taking part.
