More countries, a bigger exhibition site, and exciting aviation feats were announced when sponsors and organizers of the 11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition met in Zhuhai on May 12 to 14.
The exhibition will be held Nov 1 to 6. Anticipated are five exhibition halls with a total area of about 82,000 sq m, an increase of 16,000 sq m over that of last year. The outdoor exhibition area will exceed 350,000 sq m.

More than 700 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions will bring 130 aviation vehicles, increasing the scale, quality and level of the exhibition up to a breakthrough level. The exhibition will add a ground equipment area for demonstrations of military equipment such as armored tanks and defense assault vehicles.
The exhibition not only has a larger venue, but also richer exhibits and upgraded structure. Founded in March, the China Aviation Engine Group will take part in the exhibition for the first time. Apart from exhibitors from Russia, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, the United States, Canada and South Korea, the Netherlands will return after a decade's hiatus. Spain, Germany and New Zealand are preparing to join or visit. By November, a large number of advanced aerospace products from various countries will be ready for show as the exhibition enhances its internationalization and defense equipment scale.
In addition to the "August 1st" Aerobatic Team of the Chinese PLA Air Force, the Russian Knights and Swifts aerobatic teams will perform together, a spokesperson has announced.
