Apex Technology Co., Ltd was established in 1991. The company is devoted to R&D, the production and sales of relay protection equipment, and automatic equipment and systems for transformer substations, distribution networks, hydropower stations, digital transformer substations, intelligent switch cabinets, electronic and electrical energy-saving products and energy management. 

Apex is a primary supplier of automatic techniques and equipment for electric systems for factories and enterprise in China.

The company has acquired ISO9001 quality system certification, and is also certified for ISO14001 environment management and OHSMS18001 career health and safety. It produces the initial brand of relay protection widely recognized by domestic factories and enterprises. Current products have outscored tests administered by national and provincial electric equipment, metering, and relay appraisal units. 

Apex’s eight main outputs are rated as either National Torch (lighters of technology) Program or Local Torch Program projects. The company is one of the main drafters of national industrial standards such as the General Technical Conditions of Digital Electromotor Comprehensive Protective Equipment.
