Located in the middle of the Gaolan Archipelago, Hebao Island has eight bays and 12 beaches, including the famous Da’nan Bay of 4,000 m, which is the lengthiest among the islands of Zhuhai. Tropical rainforest covers the hills, while valleys transverse the island. Flowers are in blossom year round, with 126 species of butterflies. There are such scenic spots as Da’nan Bay Beach, Butterfly Valley, Hebao Fishing Village, and remnants of a military base. Leisure time activities include swimming, rock angling, beach soccer, and more.
Transport: Buses K8 or 605 to Zhuhai Port, and transfer to Bus 706 to get to Gaolan Island; take a ferry at the terminal for Hebao Island.
