Zhuhai

Zhuhai, on the coast of the South China Sea near Hong Kong and Macao, is one of the first Special Economic Zones in China. After the completion of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Zhuhai will become the only city in China connected to Hong Kong and Macao by bridge and land.

Hengqin International Tennis Center, with an area of about 148,000 square meters, is located at the heart of Hengqin FTZ, the third national new area approved by China's State Council. Phase 1 covers a land area of 68,000 square meters with total construction area of 28,400 square meters. The venue's concept design is created by Populous, a world-leading company in tennis venue design. It will be built into a world-class tennis venue.

Phase 1 includes the Center Arena with 5,000 seats, 1 court with 1,500 seats, 4 courts with 250 seats, and 12 outdoor training courts.
