Two museums from Yangzhou, Jiangsu province — China Grand Canal Museum and Yangzhou Museum — have secured the 11th and 98th spots, respectively, on the list of the top 100 national popular museums in the third quarter of 2024, as released by the Chinese Museum Trending Searches.

Located in the picturesque Sanwan scenic area, China Grand Canal Museum is a thematic museum dedicated to showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Grand Canal.
Spanning an area of approximately 79,000 square meters, it boasts an impressive collection of over 10,000 sets of cultural relics.
The museum also features three permanent exhibitions, six themed and one immersive digital exhibition.

Established in 1951, Yangzhou Museum is a landmark comprehensive museum that reflects Yangzhou's unique charm.
The venue features nine exhibition halls, each focusing on a unique theme. Highlights include the ancient stories of Yangzhou, the notable art group known as the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou from the 18th century, and the fascinating tradition of Yangzhou woodblock printing.
The museum was recognized as a national 4A-rated tourist attraction in 2007 and as a national first-level museum in 2008.
