Shanbei village, Yuetang town in Yizheng, a county-level city administered by Yangzhou, was shortlisted as a provincial key village for rural tourism earlier this year.
The village has a favorable natural environment that features hills and mountains.
Shanbei is best known for its Lyuyang green tea. The processing technique for the tea is a Yangzhou intangible cultural heritage.
Nashan Geological Park, a 4A scenic spot, is located within the village and adjacent to Zaolinwan International Horticultural Exposition site and Tianle Lake Tourist Resort.
Shizhushan Jinling Hotel, located near the Nashan Mountain (also named Shizhushan), provides services related to catering, accommodation, hot spring and health maintenance.
The village offers unique travel experiences for each season, including picking tea leaves in spring, picking fruits and vegetables in summer, harvesting rice in autumn and barbecues in winter.
