Panda-themed tourist train brings visitors to Xinjiang

A panda-themed tourist train, which was launched by China Railway Chengdu Group, left Chengdu West Railway Station in Sichuan's provincial capital on Aug 16, carrying more than 600 passengers for a 17-day tour of Xinjiang.
The train, numbered Y440/441, offers a flexible itinerary and a colorful tour route, covering renowned attractions in both the southern and northern parts of Xinjiang. [Photo/IC]
The train, numbered Y440/441, offers a flexible itinerary and a colorful tour route, covering renowned attractions in both the southern and northern parts of Xinjiang. Passengers will travel through cities such as Urumqi, Altay, Ili, Kuqa, Kashgar and Turpan, visiting scenic spots including Jiangbulake Grassland, Tianchi Lake, Kanas Lake, Nalati Grassland, Sayram Lake, Duku Highway, and Huoyan (Flaming) Mountain.
