Adorable sand foxes explore the world
Check out these absolutely precious sand foxes in the Tarbagatai Mountains, Tacheng city, Xinjiang!
Did you know that sand foxes are considered a second-level protected species in China? They mainly inhabit grasslands and deserts, and their senses of hearing, sight, and smell are incredibly sharp. They rely on their keen senses to catch their prey, which includes rodents, birds, lizards, and insects.
Sand foxes usually give birth to their pups in late spring or early summer, with litters ranging from two to six adorable little cubs. These little sand foxes have only recently ventured out of their den, curious about the outside world!
