Local museums and institutes of archaeological research contributed replicas and images of cultural relics to the expo, such as the armband embroidered with the words "Five stars rise in the East, indicating victory for China" and the murals of Kuqa (known as Qiuci in ancient times). They narrate the past and present stories of China's national treasures.
