“In my eight years as a nursery school teacher, my biggest achievements are happiness and the approval I’ve gained from parents and their children,” says Reyila, a nursery school teacher from Aksu, Xinjiang. She says the two biggest changes she has observed in local preschool education are greater attention on preschool education and an increasing emphasis on independent play.
