The happy walnut sorter
"Look how fast I can go," Nuerbiya says cheerfully as she sorts walnut kernels at a walnut factory in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Nuerbiya and another 100 or so people work at the factory. All of them are villagers living nearby. In her spare time, Nuerbiya likes to dance and do embroidery.
