Founded in 1959, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as the affiliated TCM hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, is a comprehensive 3A-grade hospital offering medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive care and rehabilitation.
The hospital has 69 clinical medical departments, one branch, three clinics, a community service center and a drug rehabilitation center. Its departments include angiocarpy, orthopedics, endocrinology and dermatological psoriasis, kidney disease, acupuncture, massage, stroke, deafness, tinnitus, gastroenterology, liver disease, dermatology, gynecology and proctology.
The hospital has 2,698 employees, 1,962 with professional titles, 97 with senior titles and 178 with deputy senior titles. Among them are 13 professors, 53 associate professors, 129 lecturers and four teaching assistants.
