The Praise of Prosperity: Tibetan Craft Art Regional Exhibition Tour, organized by the Xizang Autonomous Region Craft Art Association, began its first exhibit at the Xizang Art Museum in Lhasa on April 9.

The event celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Xizang autonomous region and highlights the development of its traditional craft art over the decades.

The exhibition displays nine categories of Tibetan traditional craft art, with masterpieces from 75 artisans. A total of 100 representative works such as paintings, metalwork, ceramics, woven and dyed crafts, embroidery, carving, sculpture, furniture, and jewelry—are on display, many of which are making their debut.

The exhibition's 120 days of touring will make stops at museums in Lhokha, Shigatse, and Nyingchi.
