Jizhou district welcomes an average of over 20 million visitors, with the tourism industry reaching a revenue of over 3 billion yuan (about $432 million).

At the press conference of the "Comprehensive Promotion Action Plan for Rural Revitalization" held on March 5, Zhang Jianyu, deputy secretary of the CPC Jizhou district committee and head of Jizhou district, highlighted that currently, 23 various scenic spots have been built, including six scenic spots at or above 4A level. The tourism industry extends to 14 townships and 120 tourism characteristic villages, among which 20 are key rural tourism towns and villages across the nation. Some 2,362 farmhouses have been developed, including 271 boutique bed-and-breakfast business sites.

Jizhou district is the only district in Tianjin with a mountainous area. It is one of the first nationwide tourism demonstration areas. To further promote rural revitalization, Jizhou district has focused on leveraging the advantages of local resources and cultivating a strong cultural and tourism industry.
