A team from the Tianjin University of Technology specializing in village management has carried out field research in villages and contacted enterprises to invest in villages in Jizhou, in a bid to promote rural revitalization.
The team has led four villages to sign strategic cooperation agreements with Yudong (Tianjin) International Trade Co., Ltd. and other trading companies. By organizing the four villages to participate in the agricultural products fair of the supporting organizations, 80 kinds of high-quality agricultural products have been sold, which has helped the villages achieve an income of more than 170,000 yuan (about $23,500). At the same time, the team has helped villages complete food business license applications, using e-commerce platforms to sell agricultural products and increase the villages' collective income.
The team has contacted over 20 agricultural enterprises on behalf of the villages, determining the demand of sweet potatoes and peppers, which were planted at the beginning of 2022. At present, the experimental field is seeing a bumper harvest. The yield per mu has reached 3,000 kilograms, and the economic benefit has exceeded 700,000 yuan.

In addition to implementing various actions to increase the villagers' income, the team has also formed a service system, which covers elderly services, agricultural technologies, contradiction alleviating and more, to improve the living standards of the local people. It has donated foods and other daily necessaries to the total value of over 80,000 yuan.
