Walking into the peach planting area, the 200 mu area of Zhonghua peaches has just entered the harvest and picking season. Farmers in the village have been busy picking and packing large boxes of Zhonghua peaches to be transported to the market.

Xigecen village is a famous town for planting fruit. The unique taste of its fruit is cultivated by the unique geographical conditions of the village and rich nutritional elements. The Zhonghua peach is the characteristic fruit of Xigecen village, and has passed the green food certification. It is a late-maturing variety with a beautiful appearance and great taste, and has been increasingly popular with consumers.
According to Ma Guoqing, secretary of CPC Xigecen village branch committee, the annual output of this variety of peach is about 400,000 kg. It is sold through e-commerce platforms and in supermarkets in Beijing and Tianjin.
