On Sept 21, the Ecological Photography Exhibition and the first Millet Harvest Festival of Luozhuangzi town were held in Nihe village. Su Jian, member of the Standing Committee of the Jizhou district committee and minister of the Jizhou publicity department, announced the opening of the event. Yin Xueyun, vice chairman of the CPPCC Jizhou Commitee, also attended the opening ceremony.

Recently, Nihe village in Luozhuangzi town has entered into millet harvesting season. Walking into the grain base in Nihe village, farmers are busy harvesting the millet. The village has 100 mu of farm land on which to plant millet, with an annual output of more than 20,000 kilograms. The harvested millet has to go through several processes, such as impurity removal, rice milling, polishing and sieving. With a yield of about 150 kilograms per mu, Nihe millet is soft, glutinous, sweet and high in nutrition.
