All the attendees gave positive comments on the draft work report, saying it reflected the people's courts' efforts to crack down on crimes and to serve the overall development of the country in the past year that led to concrete people-centered measures. They remarked that the selected cases in the draft report are typical of people's daily lives and can easily resonate with the public, and that the report is written in vivid and lively language, which makes it professional and understandable.

They also offered suggestions such as taking information dissemination and legal education into consideration when presenting typical cases, selecting more cases with benchmark significance to showcase the courts' work, and paying more attention to issues of common concern in the international community and showcasing how Chinese courts handle those issues.

Zhang thanked all the media representatives for their valuable suggestions, which he said have guiding significance to the overall writing of the report, its detailed expressions, intended communication effect and the work of people's courts in general. He pledged that the SPC will absorb the suggestions and continue to deepen interactions with the media sector in future work in a bid to jointly improve the legal literacy of society as a whole and soundly implement the rule of law.
