To fully implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), comprehensively review the achievements of judicial reform in the past decade and increase people's understanding of courts' work, the Supreme People's Court (SPC) compiled the Judicial Reform of Chinese Courts (2013-22).

Written in both Chinese and English, the book introduces the historical process and achievements of the people's courts in advancing the reform of the judicial system from eleven aspects: the Chinese court system and reform process, fully implementing the judicial accountability system, advancing reform of organizational structure and management system of courts, advancing reform of litigation system, reinforcing the judicial protection system and mechanism of human rights, tackling hurdles in executions, improving the judicial system and mechanism for the convenience of the people, increasing judicial transparency and democracy, promoting the classified management of judicial personnel, improving the judicial service system and mechanism for national development, and advancing the building of the internet judiciary and smart court.
