Vice-head of SPC visits Mexico, Peru

The deputy head of China’s top court wrapped up his nine-day visit to Mexico and Peru on Feb 5.

Jiang Bixin, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), introduced the rule of law in China and judicial reform since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China held in Nov, 2012.

Jiang also exchanged views and ideas with senior law officials in both countries, including those related to administrative hearings, judgment enforcement and judicial protection of environmental resources.

Aguilar Morales, president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the supreme court of Mexico, spoke highly of China’s economic development and judicial reform.

He expressed his hope of conducting closer exchanges and cooperation with the SPC.

The head of the Supreme Court of Justice, the highest judicial court in Peru, said he hoped both his country and China will have more communication in the legal sector in the future.
