In order to implement the decision of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government regarding difficulties in the service industry, the State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC) of Beijing Municipality and seven other departments jointly issued the Notice on Matters Related to Reduction and Exemption of Housing Rent for Small and Micro Enterprises and Individual Industrial and Commercial Households in the Service Industry and asked enterprises to formulate reduction and exemption plans scientifically, communicated with lessees in various ways, publicized reduction and exemption policies, and ensured that rent reduction and exemption policies were implemented.

All regulated enterprises should overcome the inconvenience of working from home during the pandemic, optimize work processes, and reduce processing time by adopting online declaration and batch reviews to ensure that the reduction should be as little as possible, as well as to help small and micro enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households in the service industry to reduce operating costs , ease operating pressure, and fulfill the responsibilities of state-owned cultural enterprises.

As of May 25, more than 17 million yuan in rent had been reduced or exempted for 84 tenants.
