It is estimated that the cultural creative industry will contribute 15 percent of Beijing’s total GDP by 2020. As a cultural center in China, Beijing is promoting the development of that industry as well as cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong in the technological, financial, information, and tourism aspects of culture, all of which are important for upgrading the industry and improving its structure.

The symposium will focus on promoting traditional culture in the market and communication between the two cities regarding its innovation.

The activities will include an introduction, a marketing event, a traditional culture innovation forum, a Beijing-Hong Kong cultural creative industry exhibition, and a creative design and future life salon.
