SOCASAO holds roadshow to promote new media projects

A roadshow for the promotion of new media projects investment and financing was held in Beijing on May 24.
The roadshow, initiated by the State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) and other cultural and media groups, attracted more than 300 participants from investment organizations, new media enterprises and media.
The main topics included development tendencies and investment opportunities in new media industry, convergence between traditional and emerging media, new media enterprise content and channel innovation.
SOCASAO has been working to push investment and financing cooperation in the cultural and creative field, establishing a project recommendation service system and building a platform for exchanges and cooperation of relevant companies and investment and financing institutions.
Since last year SOCASAO has been holding a comprehensive investment and financing summit involving thousands of people and project roadshows and featuring topics such as VRAR, television animation games, online movies and television and new media.
The recent 30 investment and financing saloons have served more than 200 entrepreneurship and investment institutions and more than 30 banking and financial institutions involving 6,000 people.
To help small, medium-sized and micro enterprises solve financing difficulties, SOCASA will expand the scope, frequency and quality of its service and organize more cultural and creative investment and financing activities in 2017.
