Network pictures project road show launched

The 2017 Beijing Culture and Creative Industry Investment Event was launched at Beijing Creative Culture and Creative Industry Exhibition Center on Mar 22, unveiling the network pictures project road show. The event is hosted by Beijing’s State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) and presented by Beijing Cultural Investment and Development Group Co Ltd and iQIYI.COM.
Dong Dianyi, deputy director-general of SOCASAO, and Yu Aijing, deputy general manager of Beijing Cultural Investment and Development Group, spoke at the event. 400 people from investment agencies, network picture companies and media agencies also participated. Yang Xianghua, vice-president of iQIYI.COM, made a keynote speech and shared his opinions on development trends in the network pictures industry.

The promotion event focuses on development trends and investment opportunities within the network pictures industry and aims to create a communication platform for relative companies and investment agencies, to improve the investment environment and boost Beijing’s culture and creative industry prosperity.
During the round table forum for network pictures entrepreneurs, Yin Chao - Tmeng.cn’s CEO, Xu Zengxin - Xinpianchang.com’s CEO, Dong Guanjie - Qsyy.com’s CEO, Lu Naning - founder of ONE-The Producers Union, and Sun Qian - Forest Pictures’ CEO, discussed how best to maintain constant content creation.
During the round table forum for investment agencies, guests including Jiang Lei, vice-president of H&R Century Pictures; Yuan Xiangyang, vice-president of Ci Wen Media; Zhang Lei, deputy general manager of Beijing Huayi Brothers StarMaker Entertainment Technology Corporation; Yin Xiangjin, general manager of Wanda Pictures Im Power; Tang Bohui, general manager of Poly Cinemas’ business department; and Peng Chao, Sparkle Roll Media’s copyright director, participated in a thoughtful discussion and multi-industrial communication.
The afternoon saw 12 outstanding network picture companies hold road shows where guests from investment agencies also made insightful comments. Both sides exchanged ideas and discussed about cooperation possibilities.
SOCASAO takes active measures to boost investment and finance cooperation in the culture and creative industry, providing a communication and cooperation platform for cultural and creative companies and investment agencies.
It has held 4 large culture and creative industry project road shows in 2016 alongside 17 investment & financing salons. To better help micro, small and medium companies solve problems and promote private investment, SOCASAO will enlarge its service scope and increase service frequency. It also plans to hold a 1,000-person investment and financing summit, around four 300-person investment and financing project road shows, and 30 to 40 related salons.
