Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei join hands for cultural creative industry development

Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province have vowed to push forward regional cultural creative industry integration to a greater level.
The 4th Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural Creative Industry Cooperation Project Promotion Fair was hosted by the State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office of Beijing (SOCASAO) on Oct 12.
Themed "Coordinated Development, Win-win Cooperation", the fair was aimed at introducing high quality cultural creative projects, promoting the cooperation of the region and establishing a display platform for enterprises.
Speaking at the promotion fair, Zhou Maofei, executive director general of SOCASAO, said that pushing forward the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is a major strategic decision made by the State Council and the fair was held against this background. With the guidance of the local governments, the fair could become a leading force in promoting cooperative regional advantages.
Zhou said that as the fair had been successfully held for three years and has achieved greater influence, SOCASAO will continue to support the regional cultural cooperation with Tianjin and Hebei to build the fair into a normalized event in the region, and help the cultural creative companies in financing, project, talent and cultural park establishment matters.
As the guests of honor, Chaoyang district of Beijing, Heping district of Tianjin and Chengde of Hebei province were given special promotion and exhibition exposure during the fair.
Li Wenhai, secretary-general of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cultural industrial parks (enterprises) alliance, said that the alliance will provide resource integration, project matching, information consultation, investment and financing and other services through holding industry training, promotional events, forums and summits, as well as field studies, research activities and policy briefings, all of which are expected to create information-sharing and win-win results.
The three guests of honor, two cities and a district, signed a number of cooperation agreements with cultural creative companies during the fair.
The fair also opened a special exhibition zone to showcase cultural creative products and projects from more than 10 enterprises. The interactive, innovative content attracted many people at the event.
SOCASAO has pledged to strengthen the cultural creative projects promotion with Tianjin and Hebei, play a leading part in Beijing's role as China's national cultural center, build a coordinated network of the cultural creative industry in the region and optimize the development of this sector.
Officials in the cultural development sector from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, representatives from more than 100 cultural creative companies and 200 representatives from financing and media organizations attended the event.
