The 2016 Beijing Cultural Creative Industry Investment Project Promotion was held to build a bridge from film, television, animation, and gaming enterprises to potential investors in Beijing on Aug 19.

Organizers hoped to promote a better financing environment for cultural creative companies and push forward the development of Beijing’s cultural creative industry.

Three round table seminars were held during the promotion, focusing on investment in the film and television industry, the animation industry, and virtual reality applications in film, television and animation games. Experts discussed hot issues in those sectors and also shared their insights about emerging development trends in the cultural creative industry.

Ten enterprises attended the road show to showcase their projects and hold personal in-depth talks with investors.

Executive Director General of the Beijing State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) Zhou Maofei, Chairman of Cultural Investment Holdings Co Ltd Zhao Lei, and CEO of Beijing Kalends Technology Co Ltd Chen Fang attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

More than 400 representatives from investment institutions, film, television, animation, and gaming companies took part in the event.

The event was co-hosted by SOCASAO, Beijing Kalends Technology Co Ltd and Beijing Cultural and Creative Industry Investment Fund Management Co Ltd.
