In Jiachuan town, Wangcang county, Guangyuan, the cries of "A basket of buns please!" echo through He's Bun Shop.

For three decades, fragrant baskets of steaming buns have filled the morning air, nourishing many Wangcang residents at dawn.

"His buns feature thin wrappers, generous fillings, and tender meat," says diner Mr Li. "When paired with a bowl of vegetable porridge and a plate of chili oil, they are perfect!"

The modest shop sells 800 baskets every day, reaching 1,000 during peak hours. After thirty years on this historic street, it was recognized as one of the "Top 10 Snack Bars in Guangyuan's First Awards".

Beginning as a street stall in the 1990s, it has expanded to over 40 branches across Chongqing, Nanchong, Bazhong, and other areas. The original shop bustles with customers drawn by its fame, while apprentices hustle in the kitchen — even the bamboo steamers have been replaced numerous times.

"Although I haven't been back to Wangcang in years, tasting authentic Jiachuan He's buns in Chongqing makes me feel at home," says Mr Liu, who works in Chongqing's Yubei district.

This city is a must-visit for food lovers — be sure to try He's buns. Let the rich, 30-year-old flavor linger on your tongue.
