Guangyuan in Southwest China's Sichuan province recently launched a three-day, two-night tourist route, promising a wonderful and relaxing trip that utilizes the high-speed rail.
Priced at 1,070 yuan ($149) per person, the route includes round-trip high-speed rail tickets between Chengdu and Guangyuan. Bookings are available through major platforms including Ctrip, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu.
On the first day, tourists can take a train from Chengdu East Railway Station and arrive at Guangyuan Railway Station in 1.5 hours. After arriving, guests can spend the night at Zhaohua Ancient City, where the immersive Jianjia Chunqiu performance is a must-see.
On the second day, visitors can stroll around Zhaohua Ancient City and visit Cuiyun Corridor, surrounded by millennia-old cypress trees that provide a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. At night, tourists can stay in Jiange county and enjoy the Jianmen Changge light show, projected across a cliff wall.
On the third day, Jianmenguan Scenic Area awaits exploration. After ascending the rugged mountain trails, tourists will be surrounded by awe-inspiring vistas of ancient structures perched dramatically atop the towering peaks. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Qianfo Cliff, home to over 500 carved Buddhist statues from the Northern Wei Dynasty.
