The 20th Western China International Fair took place in Chengdu, Sichuan province on May 25. During the event, the Guangyuan pavilion showcased over 300 featured products, highlighting the city's commitment to cultural heritage preservation, technological innovation, and industrial development.

Green aluminum industrial hub

At the pavilion, leading Guangyuan-based enterprises took center stage. Notably, Zhongfu Aluminum Co and other three aluminum enterprises are ranked among Sichuan province's top 100 manufacturers.

Anyu Aluminum Wheel Co is the largest aluminum alloy wheel producer and key exporter in Southwest China. Meanwhile, Mingkun New Material Co’s precision aluminum structural components have been procured by renowned brands such as BYD and Volkswagen.

Hometown of natural drinking water with Chinese characteristics

The specialty section showcased a variety of beverages, including soda water and beer. Among them, Bailong Lake soda water is particularly notable for its natural small-molecule composition and high strontium content, which enhances its permeability, solubility, and metabolic properties. With only six such water sources in China, Bailong Lake soda water represents an exceptional choice for daily hydration.

High-tech innovation demonstration base

Guangyuan is a national high-tech industrial base for advanced electronic products and supporting materials. The pavilion featured emergency communication vehicles equipped with satellite, voice, broadband self-organizing networks, and 5G systems—demonstrating capabilities for secure communication, video transmission, information exchange, and rapid response during emergencies.

Gathering place of scenic and cultural attractions

Visitors to the Guangyuan pavilion could step into an immersive experience of Millennium Encounter at Jianmen Pass, complete with panoramic VR views of the Jianmen Mountain range, explorations of the ancient library cave and battleground reconstructions. This interactive display brought to life the rugged beauty and historic intrigue of Shudao (ancient road to Sichuan) and Jianmen Pass.

Emerging from its historical role as a strategic gateway, Guangyuan has been transformed into a modern center of development for the Sichuan-Shaanxi-Gansu region. With its openness to investment and rich industrial resources, Guangyuan is positioning itself as an inviting hub for growth and opportunity.
